I made this homemade pizza tonight and the crust is made with yogurt. It was so good. The kids made their own personal pizzas and eat every piece!!!
Here is what you need:
1 1/2 cups white unbleached flour
1 cup wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
Italian seasonings
1 tsp sugar (I used sugar in the raw)
1 1/4 cup plain fat free yogurt
2 tsp olive oil
Directions:
- 1) In a large bowl combine the first 5 Ingredients and mix well.
- 2) In a seperate bowl mix together yogurt and oil.
- 3) Add yogurt mixture to flour mixture; mix until well combined and a soft dough forms.
- 4) Knead dough lightly, about 1-2 minutes. add more flour if needed
- 5) Roll out or press dough evenly in a lightly greased pan.6) bake at 400F for about 7 min with no toppings
- 7) Add toppings and bake for about 10 min.This is one of the pizza's we made
