I have to take 30 pills a day, 10 in the morning, afternoon and at night. For breakfast I had a SP shake. I was feeling good all morning until it came to a snack. I had some sugar snap peas and carrots but they weren't cutting it. I have to admit I love my carbs and I think that is what my body was craving. I didn't cave though, I made some kale chips. You just take kale leaves drizzle with EVOO sprinkle salt pepper and garlic. Bake and you have kale "chips". They are pretty good and it did the job for me to get over the cravings. Lunch was a huge salad with tons of veggies. I couldn't even finish the salad. After lunch, I started to feel irritated and fidgety a little. I just kept drinking my glasses of water and that seemed to help. My afternoon snack was another SP shake and dinner was cubed eggplant, zucchini and portabella mushrooms drizzled with EVOO, salt, pepper, garlic.
I have to say the hardest part to all of this is being on such a strict diet and having to make food for the kids. I made them popcorn this afternoon and was so tempted to just have a couple pieces. I couldn't even go in the food pantry for long because I kept looking at all the different food and getting tempted. Then what do the kids want after dinner........left over cupcakes from my son's birthday party. I did it though, I have made it the whole day so far and I'm going to keep push though these little temptations. I'm looking forward to the end results from the detox. Only 20 more days to go : )
Here's a little beauty tip:
Instead of using products with chemicals to get your eye make up off...... try using extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) applied with a cotton ball. It will remove the dirt and make up while moisturizing your eyelashes at the same time!
Next week I will be making my own dishwasher soap. It will be a lot cheaper than buying a store bought. This should be fun and easy!
Salute to living healthier!!
